On 06.02.2023 an innovation in the area of the export wizard in be.ENERGISED will come into effect. From this date on, the exported data will be restricted to entities/ the rights of the user who performs the export.
How did the export via the Export Wizard work so far and what is changing?
The Export Wizard was previously a pure admin tool, which should normally only be released to the "Administrators" user group. This was due to the fact that all data of the entire instance was always exported via the Export Wizard. Since not every user group should be able to see this data, the Export Wizard was therefore usually only made available to administrators.
With the above-mentioned innovation, the exported data is restricted to user groups and their rights regarding the visibility of the instance data. The decisive factor here are the settings made for groups under User Management/Groups/Group List under "Rights" in the "General Settings" tab.
Here you define whether a user of this group:
a) can see only his information.
b) can see his information as well as all information of entities subordinated to his entity.
c) can see all information.
Exactly the same settings now apply to the Export Wizard. This gives you the possibility to enable the Export Wizard also for users/sub-entities with limited rights, so that they can work with their own data without being able to see data that does not concern them.
This is not a must. As soon as this change takes effect, you can enable the "Export Wizard" right for a user group if required. Only then this group can use the Export Wizard with the mentioned restrictions on entity level.
Which exports work according to this scheme?
- Charge Points
- Authentication Media
- Charge Logs
- Bank Account
- Account Documents
- Account Document Lines
- CDR Cost Items
