Question:
In the Monthly Charging Process Invoices or be.ENERGISED COMMUNITY self-bill you receive from ChargePoint Austria, the period is printed in the upper right corner of the invoice/self-bill. Why can the period extend over several months in a monthly invoice/self-bill?
Answer:
Foremost, we would like to explain how the period is composed. Here, all those charging processes are taken into account, which are charged or credited to you. The beginning of the period depends on the start date of the first charging process, which is charged/credited. The end date depends on the end of the last charging process that is charged/credited.
Due to the fact that charging processes can be charged/credited retroactively, it may happen that the period on the invoice/credit note extends over several months. Therefore, it is also possible that the period overlaps with previous invoices/self-bills.
Example: A charging process that was started on April 3rd ended up as "invalid" in the plausibility monitor for certain reasons. The charging process was subsequently checked and set to "valid" in May. This means that it will be subsequently charged in the May invoice. The period on the invoice is thus 03.04.2022-31.05.2022 (assuming the last charging process took place on 31.05.2022). |
*Subject to special contractual provisions, we are entitled to bill charging processes within the statutory warranty period (3 years). |
Additional information:
The detailed information about the individual charging processes can be found in the CSV file attached to the invoice or, in the case of self-bills, you can export the data yourself using the Export Wizard. You can find out how to do this in this article.
