The "maintenance window" function has been fundamentally expanded.
Please note that the "maintenance window" tab in the charging station data sheet is only displayed if you have the associated rights. Not every be.ENERGISED subscription has access to these rights. Therefore, check whether your subscription includes the respective right and whether you have to activate it for your user group, if necessary. More information about the general rights management can be found here.
What is new?
- It is now possible to set a time window for the maintenance window.
- You can specify whether to lock (permanently lock) the charging connectors during the maintenance window. This prevents customers from wanting to use the charging station during maintenance.
- For the period of the maintenance window, you can whitelist certain authentication media so that even if the connectors are locked during maintenance, you can still initiate a charging session. This allows the technician to test, for example, whether the charging station is fully functional after the maintenance work is completed.
- A comment with more detailed information about the maintenance window can be added.
Step-by-step instructions in be.ENERGISED
To set a maintenance window in be.ENERGISED, first go to the charging station data sheet of the respective charging station.
In the burger menu, you will find the "Maintenance window" tab.
To set a new maintenance window, click on "Add new maintenance window". The edit window will open where you can specify the maintenance window.
Specifies whether all charging connectors are affected by the maintenance work. If yes, you can set this field to ON. This also makes the field below disappear, where you can select individual charging connectors.
Here you can select specific charging connectors that are affected by the maintenance work. Multiple selection possible.
Error code and vendor code
If no error or manufacturer codes are defined, no errors are further escalated during the maintenance work. If special error and manufacturer codes are entered, only these are not escalated via Chargepoint.OPERATIONS, but all other error and manufacturer codes are.
Start of maintenance
Enter the start time of the maintenance window here. You can use the calendar function for this, or enter the time manually. The correct format is DD.MM.YYYY 00:00.
End of maintenance
Enter the end time of the maintenance window here. You can use the calendar function for this, or enter the time manually. The correct format is DD.MM.YYYY 00:00.
If you set this field to ON, the respective charging connectors will be permanently locked during the maintenance window. This is also visible when you move the cursor over the connector. "Maintenance window" is then displayed as the user so that you can trace the blocking back to the maintenance window that has been set.
After expiration or by clearing the maintenance window, the connector is unlocked again. However, you can also permanently unlock it via the station management, should it be necessary for any reason. Permanent locking and unlocking can be tracked in the charging station data sheet in the "Scheduled jobs" tab.
Cards allowed to charge
Here you can select from a list of authentication media which are stored in your instance and which should still be able to charge at the charging station during the maintenance period.
In this field you can enter further information about the maintenance window.
A maintenance window can be edited or deleted.
