In be.ENERGISED, your charging stations can have one of four statuses, which are indicated by a differently colored charging station icon. These are explained in more detail below.

The fact that the charging station is in "pending" status can be seen in be.ENERGISED by the orange colored station icon. If you hold the mouse over the icon, you will also see the word "pending".
When does a charging station go into "pending" status?
A charging station changes to "pending" status when certain messages from the station are missing for a certain time. "Certain time" because this time interval can be defined differently. Normally, however, it is 30 minutes. The messages, which are decisive here, are:
If the charging station does not send any of these messages for a period of 30 minutes (based on the normal case), it changes to the "pending" status.
What does the "Pending" status mean?
The status "pending" is usually an indication that the communication between the charging station and be.ENERGISED backend is interrupted. For this reason, the messages mentioned above are not sent by station.
In many cases, the charging station no longer accepts remote commands in this state due to the interrupted connection.

When does a charging station show the "offline" status?
The "offline" status is usually preceded by the "pending" status. The "offline" status, like the "pending" status, is displayed when the charging station does not send a HeartBeat, MeterValues, StatusNotification or BootNotification for a certain period of time. Here, too, the time interval can be set differently, but by default it is set to 60 minutes. This means that if the last of these messages was sent 60 minutes ago, the station switches to the "offline" status.

What does the "offline" status mean?
If a charging station is "offline", the websocket connection to the backend has been closed. The charging station cannot establish a connection, remote commands from the backend, such as a restart, will not be accepted. For this reason, the be.ENERGISED technical support can only provide limited support. In most cases, a fix is necessary directly on site at the charging station.

When is a charging station "online" / What does the status "online" mean?
A charging station is displayed as "online" in the backend when there is an active connection between the charging station and the backend. The charging station communicates with the backend on a regular basis, for example through HeartBeats. By means of HeartBeats, the charging station signals to the backend that it is still there. Therefore, the HeartBeatInterval is relevant in this respect.
Time synchronization also takes place via HeartBeats. In other words, with each HeartBeat request from the charging station, the backend responds with a TimeStamp in the response.
Communication function not activated

A charging station at which the communication function is deactivated appears in be.ENERGISED with a slightly grayish station icon. In addition, the charging ports are highlighted in black.
When is this status displayed?
This status is displayed when the "Use monitoring" item is set to "No" in the charging station data sheet under Edit/Connectivity. You can find more details about this status in this article.
