The firmware updates for your KEBA KeContact P30 are available for download from the official KEBA website via this link. The download is then in the form of a zip file, which must still be extracted.
To install firmware updates on your KEBA P30, you have 2 options.
1. Locally via the station interface
First connect locally via LAN to your KEBA P30 to access the station interface. The IP address of your station can be found in the operating instructions of the station. Enter the IP address in a browser of your choice, press enter, then enter the login data for your station to access the interface.
Then go to the System tab and then Software Update.
Here you can see the currently installed version. In this case it is version 1.10.0.
Please note that no version can be skipped during firmware updates. Example: Version 1.10 is installed on your station. The latest update is version 1.12. In this case, version 1.12 cannot be installed immediately. The following firmware update must be installed first, in this example 1.11. |
In the next step, go to "Choose a file".
After you have selected the firmware file, it will also be displayed next to the folder icon. Now click on Upload & Install.
The progress of the upload can be tracked with the loading bar.
For the installation process, you will get an approximate estimate of the duration. During installation, do not disconnect the station from the power source or restart it.
After the update has been successfully installed, you only need to restart your KEBA KeContact P30. The new firmware is now completely installed.
2. Via the be.ENERGISED backend with FTP link
After you have downloaded the firmware file, send it via the inquiry form to the ChargePoint be.ENERGISED support team to have an FTP link created. The ChargePoint be.ENERGISED support team will then respond to your request with the link.
A request for the creation of an FTP link is not associated with any costs! |
After you have received the link, go to be.ENERGISED under Infrastructure/Charging Stations/Station List to the charging station data sheet of the station where the update should be installed.
Under Station Management you will find the Firmware Update item.
Now you need to enter the received link, by clicking "Update charging station now" you will start the installation process.
Example link: this link does not represent a working FW link
You can then see the installation status in the communication logs.
Once the firmware update has been successfully downloaded, you can re-fresh the charging station data sheet. You can then see the current firmware version of your charging station in the information tab.
Firmware updates can also be performed in bulk. Please note that you must have the appropriate rights in your be.ENERGISED subscription to use this function. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact your direct contact person at any time. To perform firmware updates on multiple charging stations at the same time, go to the "Bulk operations" item in be.ENERGISED under infrastructure/Charging stations. Here you have the option to perform a new so-called "Bulk operation" for firmware updates on selected charging stations. This type of firmware update should only be performed on a maximum of 30 charging stations at a time. We kindly ask you to stick to this limit. |
