General
You have the option of making your charging stations accessible to other users on the be.ENERGISED platform. This allows you to benefit from a wide range of users of be.ENERGISED world and you have the opportunity to earn additional income by providing your infrastructure to others.
In order to make your charging stations accessible to third parties with the help of the be.ENERGISED Roaming Hub and to create separate price conditions and invoicing yourself, please proceed as follows:
Activate the be.ENERGISED roaming hub
Please make sure that the be.ENERGISED roaming hub is activated in your instance. Therefore, follow the guidelines in this manual.
If you want to roam via the be.ENERGISED Community using the be.ENERGISED Hub, please follow this article. Please note that you can either roam bilaterally or via the community using the be.ENERGISED Roaming Hub. It is not recommended to activate the same contractor for both options. |
Steps as CPO
Creating a contract group
In order to make your charging stations available to third parties in the be.ENERGISED Roaming Hub, you must first create a contract group that includes the be.ENERGISED clients (EMPs) authorized to access your charging stations.
To create a contract group, go to Roaming/be.ENERGISED Hub/Settings and take the following steps:
- Navigate to the Contracting groups (CPO) tab.
- Create a new contract group and give it a name of your choice, for example "EMP Contract Group".
- From the list that appears, select all EMP clients that you want to give general access to your charging stations.
Please note that when an EMP is activated that way, the EMP does not automatically have access to your charging stations!
Assigning a charging point tariff and activation of the roaming hub at the stations
First, you need to assign a charging point tariff in the station data sheet for the respective connector (individual rate for this connector) of your charging station. More information on how to create a tariff in general can be found in this article.
Then, activate the be.ENERGISED hub at the charging station. Navigate to the charging station's data sheet via Infrastructure/Charging Stations.
Navigate to the Roaming tab and select the Roaming Hub subitem there.
You can now allow the charging station to access the roaming hub globally on the displayed view. Furthermore, you should make sure that the contract group you have created is activated.
Steps as EMP
Create EMP sales tariff
In your instance, go to Finance/Tariffs & Invoicing/Rate management and add a new EMP sales tariff.
For the tariff, you adjust the conditions according to your preferences.
If you have questions about the general tariff management, please have a look at this article.
Activate the be.ENERGISED Hub
In the Third party roaming tab, you need to activate the be.ENERGISED Hub interface.
Activate stations
Once you have configured the tariff, go to the Roaming Hub Access Control tab in the tariff and enable those CPO approved stations where your customers are allowed to charge.
Assigning the tariff to the RFID authentication media
Select the authentication medium under Infrastructure/Access control/ Authentication media. Open the data sheet of the authentication medium via Details/Edit. Under Billing rate, select the EMP sales tariff you created.
Make sure that the authentication medium is active and a date is set for the "Billing start". |
Invoicing
You have full control over the invoicing of the charging processes via the be.ENERGISED Roaming Hub.
