Paying directly at the charging station has become even more convenient with the new Direct Payment Page from ChargePoint. Below is a step-by-step explanation of how this payment process works.

Scanning the QR code
First, you scan the QR code, which is attached to each station, using the camera of your smartphone.
You will be redirected directly to the new Direct Payment website of has-to-be.
Step 1
Viewing the tariff
On the first page you will be informed about the tariff at this charging station and the respective costs. If there are tariff packages to choose from at this station, you can select them here.
Terms and Conditions & Right to Withdrawal
Both the terms and conditions and the point regarding the right of withdrawal must be accepted. It is not possible to proceed with the payment process if these points are not accepted.
The General Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy are available in the respective languages.
The languages GR-Greek, JA-Japanese and RU-Russian are currently excluded from this. For these, the terms and conditions are available in English.

E-mail address
Enter your e-mail address here. If the charging station is located in the EU, then the e-mail address is mandatory. For charging stations outside the EU, the e-mail address is optional.

Step 2
Payment Method
You will now be asked to enter your payment details. You can choose between PayPal and credit card as a payment method.
By clicking on "Pay" you confirm the payment and can continue with Step 3.
| Please note that an amount of 80.00 EUR (or an equivalent in another currency) is reserved at the beginning of the charging process. You will also be informed about this in the tariff information, which is displayed on the first page of the Direct Payment Page. You can find more details regarding this here. |
Step 3
Request to connect the vehicle to the station
You can now connect your vehicle to the charging station. After the vehicle has been connected, the charging process starts and your vehicle is charged.
The total energy consumption and duration are continuously updated during the charging process.

Please note that the energy consumption is only updated if the station continuously sends the current measured values in the form of Meter Values. If this data is not continuously transmitted, the amount of energy currently being charged will also not be updated during the charging process. In this case, you will be informed of the total energy amount at the end of the charging process. |
The charging session can be stopped at any time via the stop button.
After the completion of the charging process
After we have received the completion notification by the charging station, you will receive your receipt via e-mail, if an e-mail address has been provided.
