Recently, we have received an increasing number of reports of problems with regards to cards from EMC-Austria. These cards are RFID cards issued by EMC Club.
Customers report the tag ID of the RFID card to the various suppliers, who then issues the RFID cards to the customers. For the driver, this provides the convenience of being able to load with a single RFID card from different providers without the providers having a roaming agreement with each other.
has·to·be strongly advises against using such a system as it will lead to considerable complications for the day to day operations of the providers with whom their drivers have a roaming agreement.
Problems also occur if CPO instances and MSP instances that are operated separately and access the charging infrastructure is via roaming interfaces or the be.ENERGISED Hub.
If more than one provider uses the tag ID of the RFID card in a roaming network, it cannot be guaranteed which provider will ultimately authorize the charging process. The first-come-first-serve system always applies here, so that the driver is ultimately faced with a lack of transparency. For this reason, we would like to state that RFID cards from EMC-Austria are not be included in contracts that allow roaming access with third parties. Furthermore, we would like to state that has·to·be does not assume any guarantee or liability for loading processes that have not been invoiced correctly.
