Information
In this overview (tab Information) you will find basic information about your charging station. In addition to information on "Model & Manufacturer", "Serial Numbers" and "Connectivity", you can also see the number of connectors of your station, how many charging processes have taken place at this station and the total energy amount. By clicking on these fields, you will be quickly redirected to the respective tab to get detailed information.
Additional information
With Add/Add free-text field you can save any information with a description and a value for the station here. Any number of additional fields can be created. For example, if your technician wants to store certain comments on the station, they could do this here.
Charge points
A charging station can contain several charging connections. For correct display in station finders and portals (infrastructure/charging stations/station list/station data sheet/interfaces) it is necessary that charging connections are configured with a descriptive name and set up correctly. Each charging connector should be marked with a unique EVSE-ID , which allows a unique identification in the international charging infrastructure landscape. For the correct configuration of charging points, this article will help you.
In the graphic display, two blue circles indicate the charging processes of the charge point. This is a graphic representation of the charging processes of the charging station. The left circle shows the charging processes in absolute numbers and the right circle shows the drawn power in kWh. However, the power can only be displayed by be.ENERGISED if the station also sends these values (not every station models has to the capacity to send these values).
Components
Examples of components that can included here are: routers, external load management, external electricity meters, spare parts or a spare part of a defective GSM modem, etc. These can be created here with serial number, installation number etc. for a charging station.
To display components in this tab please follow the path: Infrastructure/Asset Management/Article Administration/Add Article
Add article
Fill out the form accordingly and select Components from the article group.
Under Infrastructure/Asset Management/Installed Components/Assign Component, select the desired component and assign it to a charging station.
If you now look under the components in the station data sheet, linked components should be displayed.
Errors
Under Errors, current values sent by the station hardware to be.ENERGISED are displayed. The transmitted data is broken down by: charge point, error code, manufacturer code and date. Error codes are hardware-specific and look different depending on the station. If your station has an error, you can first check here which error message the station reports.

Logs
In this tab, you see the communication log data that the station sends to the back-end. These, like the error messages, are hardware-dependent. be.ENERGISED prepares the log data to such an extent that they are somewhat easier to understand and read.
Filtering by individual and multiple message codes is possible.
You can view the log data by clicking on ‘Details'. In the log above, an attempt was made to charge using an RFID card that does not have a Tag-ID. Since it is not possible to check whether this card is authorized to charge at the station without a Tag-ID, it was rejected. It also indicates that the charging process was not a roaming customer and all other values were either not sent from the station or could not be received.
Fundamental changes to the logs can be made in the Settings tab.

Diagnostics
Via the menu Station management/Get charge point diagnostics you can request diagnostic data of your station. The exact content and file format of the diagnostic data vary depending on the hardware manufacturer.
Your diagnostic data is then available for download in the Diagnosis tab. Creating the diagnostic file can take a few minutes.
Interfaces
You have the option of activating individual interfaces for each charging station. This enables you to transmit real-time data from the charging station to portals and other systems. It is not necessary to have an active be.ENERGISED Community to use these interfaces.
Please note that if you want to use the has·to·be map data service, at least the interface "GeoJSON" is activated to display this station on the map. |
The data is made available in the system according to the following pattern:
- General POI data is sent to the data services every night between 02:00 and 05:00 if the data services do not query the data independently.
- Live data is usually distributed to the downstream POI systems approx. 30 seconds after the status message arrives.
The presentation and transfer of the data is handled by the various providers individually. A configuration of the external interface in be.ENERGISED does not mean that there is an obligation on the part of the third party provider to accept POI data. Furthermore, has·to·be has no influence on the representation of the data in the map systems of the third-party providers.
If you are not satisfied with the presentation of your station information on the data portal of a third-party provider, please address the request for correction directly to the provider. has·to·be has no influence on the presentation of the data on third-party sites. |
Please also note the following information about how data are provided to third party service providers:
- Charging station data forwarded to third parties are usually checked and edited by those providers. Therefore, it can take up to 2 weeks until your charging stations are displayed on all configured portals.
- If an interface is deactivated, this does not mean that it is automatically removed from the respective portal. In this case, the provider is simply no longer provided with updated information. If you want to remove a charging station from a directory, please contact the provider directly.
- A provider can also receive basic information about charging stations from other directories or from other systems. For example, charging stations with roaming-functionality via Intercharge are usually already available in different directories, as the respective providers use the data from the Intercharge network. The deactivation of the interface has no influence on the presentation of data with these providers.

Add charging station to a station group
Via the charging station data sheet, you also have the option of assigning your station to a station group that you have created.
Please note that for the creation of a station group the corresponding rights are necessary. Not every be.ENERGISED license has access to these rights. Therefore, check whether your license includes the respective right and whether you have to enable it for your user group, if necessary. More information about the general rights management can be found here. |
A station group can be created via Infrastructure/Settings/Station groups.
By clicking on Add station group you will then have the possibility to enter the name of the new station group and create it.

Configure charging station powered by green energy
If your charging station is operated with green energy, you can also configure this in the charging station data sheet.
Under Edit/Green energy management for the charging station, the window then opens in which you can choose between three options. For each option, the info fields next to it will give you details of what each option is.
![]() |
1. No green energy
By default, every charging station is configured with this option. With this setting, your charging station will be considered as "not powered by green energy" by third parties, such as roaming partners and external portals.
2. be.CERTIFIED green energy
If you can prove that your charging station is powered by electricity from renewable sources, a corresponding certificate (Guarantees of Origin) can be purchased from has·to·be.
The costs for this will be charged via the monthly subscription billing of the purchased power in kWh.
With the purchased green energy certificate, your charging station will be passed on to third parties as "operated with green energy".
3. Self-managed green energy certificate
If you already have your own green power certificates, you can also use this option to pass your charging station on to third parties as "operated with green energy".
Please note, however, that you alone are responsible for the accuracy of the information. has·to·be does not assume any responsibility or liability for the correctness of the information and has the right in this respect to hold itself harmless from any legal action or claims against you without limitation.
Since we have no influence on third parties, we assume no responsibility for how they ultimately display the charging station. |
Station management
Lock/ unlock station or connector
If you want to lock one or more connectors at your charging station or subsequently unlock them, you can do this via the "Station management" tab and the item "Lock/ unlock station or connector".
Click on this item and now select the corresponding connector or the entire charging station under "Connector". At "Type" you have two choices. One is the "regular" locking/unlocking, and the other is the "permanent" locking. In the case of regular locking of the connector, it remains inactive until the next action is performed. Actions include, for example, a restart of the charging station with subsequent BootNotification or a ChangeAvailability Request within the framework of the defined operating and opening hours, which also overwrite the status of the connector again (more about scheduled jobs and the configuration of operating and opening hours can be found here).
When "permanent" locking, the connector remains permanently locked and can only be reactivated by "permanently" unlocking it.
With this feature you can ensure that the status of the affected connector is not changed by other actions.
In our example, you now select select the corresponding connector or the entire charging station under "Connector". Under "Type", now select "Permanent". Then specify whether you want to lock or unlock the connector, and confirm your selection by clicking on the blue Send button.
The connector is displayed in red after being locked. If you move the mouse over the connector icon, you can see the status of this connector ("Manually Locked"), the time it was permanently locked and by which user.
Please note that with "conventional" locking you do not see this information. |
