All EV-drivers have unrestricted access to charge at be.ENERGISED COMMUNITY charging stations. You can access the charging stations either via a QR code sticker using a smartphone or by entering the URL and EVSE ID on a mobile website. There are various options for paying with either a credit card, PayPal, etc.
EV-drivers only pay at COMMUNITY charging stations for the actual costs incurred. To guarantee this, normally an amount up to 150,00 EUR (or an equivalent in another currency) is preauthorized at the beginning of each charging process. This is also referred to as an authorized amount. This enables ChargePoint to debit up to a maximum of the authorized amount.
After successful pre-authorization, the charging process will start. At the end of a charging process, the actual fees incurred will be withdrawn from your account, and the deposit amount will be cancelled and credited back to you.
If a charging process cannot be started successfully, or if it terminates prematurely (before the defined buffer time) and does not reach the starting point of billing, then the deposit remains valid for the time being. ChargePoint adheres to the deadlines of the respective payment service provider. After this period, the authorized amount is automatically released.
Payment service provider deadlines PayPal: 29 days Mastercard/Visa/Maestro: 30 days |
If an early release is desired under the premise of a valid reason, then this can be done manually by ChargePoint. To do so, please create a request via our request form, including the corresponding transaction ID.
*Buffer time is the time during which the charging process does not reach the billing start.
