Depending on the hardware you are using, you may not be able to complete charging operations in your system. This means that the charging station has not sent a “StopTransaction”. This is an OCPP message that indicates the end of a charging process.
reasons for the absence of the StopTransaction can be many:
- The charging station has lost the communication link during the charging process.
- The charging station has a software error that prevents it from sending the StopTransaction.
- The StopTransaction has an invalid format or invalid values.
Troubleshooting
If the charging station has lost its connection to the backend during the charging process, you can restart the charging station via on-site service to put it into operation again. Most charging stations store charging processes and transmit them to be.ENERGISED when the online connection is established.
If no StopTransaction or a faulty StopTransaction was sent by the charging station although the online connection was active, you should contact the manufacturer of the charging station.
You can also edit and correct the charging information manually. Therefore go to the menu charging data sheet and select Edit.
After the changes have been made, you can also have the costs for a charging process recalculated. This is also done in the menu Edit.
