With the plausibility monitor, be.ENERGISED provides a function that automatically detects faulty charging processes and reports non-plausible data to the charging station operator. This means your ChargePoint be.ENERGISED support team can react proactively to errors, incorrect bookings and implausible data and possible issues are caught before they become apparent to the end customer.
The plausibility monitor is always active and is automatically applied to all charging processes performed. You can find the plausibility monitor settings under the menu item Infrastructure/Charging processes/Plausibility monitor/Settings.
Charging processes that fall within the plausibility monitor are marked as INVALID. The plausibility monitor should be checked regularly for any charging processes being held before for verification before invoicing. The plausibility monitor prevents any excessive or incorrect charges to the end customer from being noticed until the end of the month and will not be invoiced until manually checked over. |

The plausibility monitor contains various verification features that can be applied to charging processes that have been carried out.
You currently have the option to activate the following features in your system:
INCORRECT TIME INFORMATION
This function checks if the timings of the charging process are credible. This can either be end counter times or non-plausible time data for the start time. You have the option to activate or deactivate this feature. If you activate this plausibility check, implausible loading processes are listed in the dashboard of the plausibility monitor accordingly.
INCORRECT METER VALUE
The system checks whether the signed measured values for the charging processes were correctly transmitted from the hardware. More information about the signature data can be found here.
CHARGING TIME EXCEEDED
You can define the maximum time in minutes that a charging process should take. If this time is exceeded, the loading process is flagged. Please note, the charging process will not end automatically
POWER CONSUMPTION EXCEEDED
If the maximum amount of energy you have set is exceeded, the charging process is flagged for verification. Here again, you have the option of specifying the maximum amount of energy next to maximum energy in kWh.
MAXIMUM POWER CONSUMPTION FOR CHARGING CONNECTOR
You can configure each connection type at a charging station according to its properties. To do this, please go to the charging station data sheet/charging stations. You can find more information about the charging connections here.
be.ENERGISED provides all necessary settings and metrics for this purpose. If the amount of energy theoretically possible for this charging port is exceeded, the process is flagged for verification. You have the option of entering a specific percentage allowance for this.
MAXIMUM COSTS EXCEEDED
If the maximum fee for a loading process is exceeded, this is also flagged. You can define the maximum cost accordingly.
RFID DISTANCE CHECK
This feature checks for the likelihood of successive uses of the identification medium.
A limit of 80 km (as the crow flies) per hour is used. This means that if the customer has charged at point A and then charges again within an hour at point B, which is 96 km (as the crow flies) away from point A, the charging process will be held in the plausibility monitor for verification.
INVALID SIGNATURE
The system checks whether the signed measured values for the charging processes were correctly transmitted from the hardware. More information about the signature data can be found here.
MINIMUM ENERGY VALUE
This plausibility monitor check will flag a charging process whenever the power consumption is less than the minimum required.
CONNECTOR IS SET IN CHARGELOG
This plausibility monitor check will flag a charging process whenever the cp connector is not set.
INVALID TAXES
This plausibility monitor check will flag a charging process whenever the chargelog does not contain taxes attached to it.
UNKNOWN CONNECTOR TYPE
The system checks here if the charging process has an unknown connector type.
NO COST RATE
If this item is set to Yes, charging processes that do not have a cost rate are marked as implausible by the plausibility check.
CONNECTOR NOT DISPLAYED
This parameter is used to check whether the connector of the charging process is displayed or not. If it is not displayed, the charging process is marked as implausible.
DELAYED CDR PROCESSING
A time period for the maximum duration of the transmission of a charging process can be entered here. If this period is exceeded, the charging process is marked as implausible.
SEND ONLY VALID CDRS TO ROAMING PARTNERS
If you activate this function, the system automatically checks the validation status before sending CDRs to the roaming partners.
SEND NOTIFICATIONS TO E-MAIL
You can have all alerts about possible faulty charging processes sent by e-mail to a customizable e-mail address. This way you will be proactively informed about possible faulty data.
LANGUAGE FOR NOTIFICATIONS
Here you have the option to set the language for the notifications about faulty charging processes. Simply select the required language from the menu.
Plausibility Monitor Tools
In the dashboard of the plausibility monitor you have some tools at your disposal, which should make it easier for you to work with and search for certain implausible charging processes.
Filter function
With the filter function you can easily filter by one or more parameters to narrow down the displayed charging processes in the plausibility monitor accordingly. You can filter according to the following criteria:
Charging station
The charging stations created in your instance are available for selection. Multiple selection possible.
Charge point
Here you can filter specifically for one or more EVSE IDs. Multiple selection possible.
Roaming partner
Here you can filter for a roaming partner, or an interface, via which the charging process ran. Multiple selection possible.
EMP or CPO
Here you can filter for specific EMPs and/or CPOs. Multiple selection possible.
Rate
Here you can filter for a tariff you have created. Multiple selection possible.
CRM contact
Here you can filter for one of your CRM contacts. Only one CRM contact can be selected.
Currency
Here you can filter for a specific currency. Multiple selection possible.
Cost rate
Here you can filter by one or more of your created cost rates, which were applied during the charging processes. Multiple selection possible.
Plausi Check set
All possible error messages are available for selection here, which you can view under Settings. It does not matter if you have set each of these fields to YES. By default, all of them are available for selection. Multiple selection is also possible here. If you filter on certain error messages, then all charging processes are displayed, which have at least one of these error messages.
Plausi check set "exclusive"
If you additionally set this field to YES, then only those load processes will be displayed that contain all the error messages you selected.
After you have set the filters according to your wishes, you only need to click on "Apply filter". The corresponding charging processes that meet the criteria you selected will then be displayed below.
With "Reset filter" you delete the filter criteria again and you see all implausible charging processes.

Select period
Of course, you can also limit the displayed charging processes in terms of time. To do this, select the appropriate period using the "Select period" button and then click OK. All implausible charging processes in the selected period will be displayed.
Search field
The search field allows you to filter by three parameters. You can filter specifically for a charge log ID, or for a specific session ID, or for a specific EVSE ID. You can only search for one parameter.

Bulk Operations Tool
The Bulk Operations Tool in the Plausibility Monitor helps you to process several charging processes collectively.
To select a charging process, click on it. To select all displayed charging processes from top to bottom, click on the top charging process, hold down Shift and select the bottom charging process. All charging process are now selected.
To select specific charging processes, highlight a charging process, hold down Ctrl (Windows)/ Cmd (Mac) and select the individual charging processes.
After you have selected one or more charging processes, the "Action" button at the top right changes its color from gray to blue. This can now be clicked and the following actions will be available for all your selected charging processes.
Recalculate costs
You can recalculate the cost of the charging processes. In doing so, you can keep the original rate or set a new rate, after which the recalculation will be performed. You also have the option to recalculate the purchase costs again.
During the recalculation, the selected charging processes temporarily disappear from the plausibility monitor. This process can last up to one hour. If the charging processes are repeatedly classified as implausible after recalculation, they will then be visible again in the plausibility monitor. |
Recalculate VAT tax
You can have the VAT tax recalculated. Before doing so, you will be asked again if you really want to perform this step.
Set to VALID
This will set all the selected charging processes to VALID.
This function replaces the green check mark button available in the old version of the plausibility monitor, which could be used to set charging processes to "plausible". |
Delete charge logs
Deletes all selected charging processes.
Actions via the Bulk Operations Tool are logged in the "Audit logs" tab of the charging process data sheet. The "Audit logs" tab is only available to customers with a be.ENERGISED Business/Business Premium subscription. |
