Questions keep arising in the area of charging processes, the associated log entries and other time stamps as to which areas in be.ENERGISED are affected by which time zone settings. In the following article you will find details about these settings.
Where in be.ENERGISED can time zones be set?
System time zone
This setting was defined when your be.ENERGISED account was created, and usually corresponds to the time zone in the country where your company is located. This time zone cannot be adjusted by you and affects the display of most of the time information in be.ENERGISED.
Charging station time zone
This setting only affects the charging station and is used, for example, to display the correct time stamp in invoices. However, the time information in charging processes depends on the system time zone.
Entity time zone
This time zone affects invoicing and credit memo creation, so that charging transactions are taken into account for the correct invoicing and credit memo run.
